3/21/2021 0 Comments Back Pain RemediesDo you have back pain? Most of us will experience it at one time or another. What you do when you experience it will make all the difference in how it heals.
Is your first instinct to stretch, get a massage or use the foam roller? That used to be my go to and while these are great tools they are not the best thing to do when you are in pain. The key is to wait until the pain subsides before you start in on stretching and foam rolling or massage. Otherwise you risk over-stretching the area and causing more pain. The idea is to get the stability back in the back and by doing massage and stretching its loosening the muscles but not providing any stability so the back is not supported and will end up hurting again. Some of the things to do when you are in pain are: 👉ice, ice and more ice. Lay on an ice pack for about 20 min a few times a day. 👉 If needed ibuprofen a few times a day for about 2-3 days to break the pain cycle and then switch to a natural anti inflammatory like Zyflamend or a Turmeric supplement. 👉Recently I discovered Cobiaba and Frankincense essential oils are great for pain and so easy to use. Put one or two drops under the tongue daily or use topically on area of pain. **These oils must be therapeutic grade to take internally. 👉Find a good chiropractor and get adjusted. Once you are feeling better, deep core stability exercises are really beneficial as well as strengthening the posterior chain muscles (basically all the muscles of the back/glutes/hamstrings)🙂

3/14/2021 0 Comments Change your HabitsIf you rely on waiting until you feel motivated to make a change nothing will change even if you want something different.
We think we have to “feel” a certain way before we make changes or do the thing and when we do, that feeling will lead to the new actions and results. NOPE that is not how it works. I am guilty of this myself. Change is not always easy but necessary in order to grow. Sometimes the Universe will do it for you and push you along whether you are ready of not. Habits and actions are what leads to massive changes and results. By just starting with one thing today can lead to massive change in the future! Its a choice, a decision and then its doing those habits that will get you there even when you don’t feel like it. What new habit are you ready to start? I want to hear! Mine is continuing this journey i started when I said yes to the Tony Robbins seminar Unleash the Power Within 🙏 Make your move! 2/28/2021 0 Comments Stretch it outDid you know that stretching is just as important as exercise? I admit on occasion, I have skipped this important part after my workout when I was in a time crunch The importance of stretching is huge, not only for the body but also the mind as it reduces stress.
Some benefits of stretching: improves range of motion decrease back pain improves posture prevents injuries increases flexibility increases blood and nutrient supply to muscles thereby possibly reducing muscle soreness ... Did you know that muscles and joints weaken and range of movement deteriorates as we age but with regular stretching that doesn’t have to happen I am all about anti aging and I’m doing anything I can to stop the process! 2/14/2021 0 Comments Chlorophyll benefitsWhat is Chlorophyll? Chlorophyll is the most important constituent of plants. It allows plants to absorb light from the sun and convert it into energy. It possesses an amazing range of benefits and is readily available to everyone.. It is a great detoxifier because it prompts the production of liver enzymes that aid the body’s natural elimination process. These enzymes bind to unwanted materials in the liver and transport them safely out of the body. The easiest way to take it is to add it to water. Mine is mint flavored and tastes good. Don’t let the color scare you! Here are some benefits of taking chlorophyll: Helps control hunger Aids in weight loss Controls body oder Promotes cleansing Super potent antioxident Effective against candida albicans Relieves systemic redness and swelling Promotes healthy iron levels Promotes the production of red blood cells The components are anti inflammatory |
