2/28/2021 0 Comments Stretch it outDid you know that stretching is just as important as exercise? I admit on occasion, I have skipped this important part after my workout when I was in a time crunch The importance of stretching is huge, not only for the body but also the mind as it reduces stress.
Some benefits of stretching: improves range of motion decrease back pain improves posture prevents injuries increases flexibility increases blood and nutrient supply to muscles thereby possibly reducing muscle soreness ... Did you know that muscles and joints weaken and range of movement deteriorates as we age but with regular stretching that doesn’t have to happen I am all about anti aging and I’m doing anything I can to stop the process!

Did you know that when light enters the eyes it stimulates the photoreceptors of the retina.👀 Part of this light goes through a special pathway which stimulates the hypothalamus (the master gland of the body) this sends signals to the pineal and pituitary glands which helps us balance our circadian rhythms. (our wake and sleep cycles) This is why people develop SAD in the winter! ...
