Healing Benefits of Infrared Saunas

Trying out the new infrared sauna at work! One of the perks of downtime is getting to use the sauna! This one has auto chromotherapy light change with all the different colors of the chakras. That is pretty cool! Also this one has the lowest EMFs which is really important.

Infrared saunas use special lamps that heat your body from the inside out. Infrared, near and far infrared saunas are known for their ability to promote detoxification. By heating tissue several inches deep. And it feels amazing. 😉

There are several benefits to infrared saunas over the others, as these offer greater tissue penetration and interaction with chromophores in your body. Chromophores are light-sensitive molecules in your mitochondria and water molecules that absorb light.
